Soaring high above the building was one young red-tailed hawk this evening. What a joy to watch him soar around and around and then finally land on the building.

Soaring high above the building was one young red-tailed hawk this evening. What a joy to watch him soar around and around and then finally land on the building.
Too Hot for the juvenile Red-Tailed Hawks July 6, 2010
The juvenile Red-Tailed Hawks were panting and had their wings open trying to cool off. They then took to the woods and were till seen trying to cool down.
Red-Tailed hawks to not drink water - they get all the liquid they need from the food they eat. The blood is their source of liquid.
